Supplier Requirements

Quality Standards

All SMP suppliers are required to maintain ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certification. We conduct regular quality audits and expect suppliers to maintain documented quality management systems, corrective action processes, and statistical process controls.

Environmental Compliance

SMP requires all suppliers to comply with applicable environmental regulations, including RoHS, REACH, and conflict minerals reporting. We expect suppliers to maintain ISO 14001 certification or equivalent environmental management practices.

Ethical Sourcing

Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires adherence to fair labor practices, prohibition of forced and child labor, safe working conditions, and anti-corruption policies. SMP conducts periodic social compliance audits of strategic suppliers.

Financial Stability

We evaluate the financial health of prospective and existing suppliers to ensure supply chain continuity. Suppliers are expected to maintain adequate insurance coverage and provide financial documentation upon request.
