Standard Motor Products Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results
Net revenues of $412.3 million; Engineered Solutions segment posts record quarterly revenue
Standard Motor Products, Inc. (NYSE: SMP) today reported financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026.
Net revenues for the second quarter of 2026 were $412.3 million, compared to $389.1 million in the second quarter of 2025, an increase of 6.0%. The Automotive Aftermarket segment reported net revenues of $298.4 million, up 3.8% year-over-year, driven by continued demand for Standard® brand ignition, emissions, and sensor products. The Engineered Solutions segment reported net revenues of $113.9 million, a record for any quarter, up 13.2% year-over-year, reflecting new OEM program launches and growing demand for Intermotor® thermal management and ADAS components.
Gross margin for the second quarter was 29.4%, compared to 28.7% in the prior-year period, reflecting favorable product mix and ongoing operational efficiency initiatives.
Diluted earnings per share for the second quarter were $1.02, compared to $0.91 in the second quarter of 2025.

The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance of net revenues in the range of $1.62 billion to $1.65 billion and diluted earnings per share in the range of $3.90 to $4.05.
